Orkestra Simfoni Remaja's Principal Clarinettist, Eizaz Azhar, plays his own rendition of the Christmas carol "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing" arranged for soprano, alto, tenor saxophone, piano and bass guitar. The carol is based on a melody by the great composer Felix Mendelssohn, originally created to celebrate the anniversary of the printing press by Johann Gutenberg (also known as the Gutenberg Cantata). Eizaz's setup is as follows:

1) Concert in Genting Highlands on the 5th of December ( possibility, 6th December, sleeping there, NEED CONFIRMATION!)

2) Concert in N. Sembilan on the 27th of November. It's a one day show, so no need to panic and all :P

Behind is the famous Pearl Telecommunication Tower and the latest shopping mall. okay, this place has been hibernating for sometime. BUT, that DOESN'T mean OSR has been hibernating too. We've been having our rehearsals every saturday and just last week, we had a performance in Ipoh. Those who missed the opportunity to perform with us, please refer to MADAM MAYYA for any questions or what so ever.

There will be a rehearsal this Saturday, of course.

Oh and one more thing, this friday, which is tomorrow, OSK will be having a concert. For OSR members who wish to watch the show, please go to the counter and tell your name and that you are an OSR member.

The fusion band JUNK gets together in the studio for their first live demo, this video featuring T-Square's Takarajima. The band JUNK consists of 5 young musicians from different backgrounds, coming together for a shared love of the music they play, jazz-funk - hence the name JUNK. The band enjoys the style of fusion groups such as the Chick Corea Elektric Band, Fourplay, Return To Forever and especially so for Japanese jazz fusion bands particularly T-Square, Casiopea and Dimension.

An instrumental group, the band maintains a healthy balance between easy listening, jazz and progressive music, something very few youth bands play. JUNK can be found athttp://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/JUNK...
